Seed Starting Marathon
Hey! A couple of weeks ago we were under snow and now as I’m writing this, we are currently at 80 degrees and under a tornado watch. Southeast Louisiana weather is crazy y’all!!! We’re supposed to get some big storms later this afternoon and into the night (oh yay) and I am not a fan of when the ugly storms happen at night, because you can’t see shit! Anyway, back to the garden….. Everything is pretty much brown, but I did notice blooms on my Japanese Maple today! I’ve planted a few things here and there and have been trying to clean up, but we’re supposed to dip back down into the low 30’s this coming Sunday, so I’ve gotta be patient. It’s probably a good thing though, as I had a shitload of broccoli to harvest and blanch. It’s currently waiting for me to vacuum pack it for the freezer, which I’m hoping to get to tomorrow.
